EXCLUSIVE: Shriya Pilgaonkar recalls attending a birthday party for money, says, “I judged myself”

Shriya Pilgaonkar is an actress, director and producer who primarily works in Hindi films and web series. She made her acting debut with the Marathi film Ekulti Ek (2013), following her Hindi film debut with Fan (2016). Pilgaonkar went on to establish herself with successful web series such as Mirzapur (2018), Guilty Minds and The Broken News (both 2022) and Taaza Khabar (2023). In an exclusive chat with Bollywood Bubble, Shriya Pilgaonkar reveals that her most embarrassing moment of her life when she had to attend a stranger’s birthday party for money. Shriya Pilgaonkar revealed her most embarrassing moment was when she attended a stranger’s birthday party for money. She said, “Something maybe embarrassing that I did because the money was really good was attending a stranger’s birthday party. Which now when I look back I wonder, but I was convinced that this young kid was a fan. Now when I look back I realise it was the father who was the fan and not the kid.”

She added, “You know they convinced me to come, and I mean like I judged myself for the money. but hey come on, you cannot judge anyone for making money. The kid was very young, which is why I was brought into that party. But I am like this 10 year old has clearly not watched any of my shows. But yeah whatever.”
